Since 1984, the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT) has presented annual art awards which celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art and artists.
Forty years since the National Aboriginal Art Award was established, it has flourished to become the Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards, representing culture and creativity from across the country.
40 presents an incredible selection of artworks and stories from artists who have shared in the history of the Awards.
