We offer a variety of event spaces for corporates and individuals to entertain in a contemporary and iconic museum setting.

Based in both Darwin and Alice Springs, The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory offers a variety of spaces to hire for your next wedding, private function or special event.

MAGNT Front Lawns

Host your next major event on our tropical front lawns overlooking the Arafura Sea.

Perfect for cocktails at sunset, an awards evening, concert or dry-season wedding. With versatile lighting and dynamic set-ups, our gardens can be transformed from an intimate private setting to a charismatic party venue. The space can comfortably host up to 1000 people.

Our 125 seat theatrette is perfect for your next conference, training session, meeting or screening. Whether a corporate or community group, our theatrette is equipped with everything you need to give your event a professional edge.

Fannie Bay Gaol

Fannie Bay Gaol is a unique site steeped in history and is available for hire for small to medium boutique events that explore and connect to that history.

Due to the heritage listing of the site and the limited infrastructure to service events, all enquiries will be assessed on a case by case basis.

MAGNT Amphitheatre

A gorgeous natural amphitheatre. Against a rock wall backdrop, this versatile space can be transformed into an intimate dinner space, cocktail lounge or the perfect place for your reception after marrying on our front lawns. The capacity of this space varies from 80 to 150 depending on the style of event, table configuration and other inclusions such as a stage or dancefloor.

With spectacular views of the Darwin coastline, the Maritime Undercroft provides an intimate yet protected platform to host your wedding reception, function or party.

This space can accommodate up to 200 guests, depending on the type of event and inclusions.
